Reducing our environmental impact
In addition to our efforts to advance the global climate action agenda and educate investors about the management of environmental risks in their portfolio, we are committed to reducing our own environmental impact as much as possible.
We are taking steps to cut our carbon footprint by optimising infrastructure efficiency, including the building of cutting-edge low-carbon headquarters, supporting green mobility and streamlining our consumption.
Targets for our operations have been validated by the Science Based Targets initiative to verify they are in line with science: we are committed to reducing our absolute scope 1 and 2 emissions by 55% by 2030 from 2019 levels.

A long tradition of philanthropy

The Pictet Group Foundation continues the tradition of philanthropic work undertaken by Pictet’s partners in the fields of medical research, culture, social and humanitarian causes. Efforts are focused on the following key areas: environment and education, nutrition, and water.

Prix Pictet
In 2008 the partners of the Pictet Group created the Prix Pictet prize to draw worldwide attention to and stimulate action on issues of sustainability through the medium of photography. Since foundation, the Prix Pictet has focused on environmental and social themes beginning with Water, followed by Earth, Growth, Power, Consumption, Disorder, Space, Hope, Fire and Human.
