How we invest

Our European Direct Lending strategy aims to deliver strong1 long-term risk-adjusted returns by providing debt financing for privately-owned lower mid-market companies in Europe (EBITDA of €3-12 million).

Our investment philosophy

We believe that we can add value for our clients by focusing on mature, resilient, and performing lower-mid-market corporates across Western Europe. We look at both private-equity sponsored and non-sponsored corporates. Local expertise is vital in this process, which is why our Private Debt team is located in the UK, France, and Germany.

The scenarios presented are an estimate of future performance based on evidence from the past on how the value of this investment varies, and/or current market conditions and is not an exact indicator. What you will get will vary depending on how the market performs and how long you keep the investment/product. The expected future performance does not in any way constitute a promise of future returns. All forms of investment involve risk. The value of investments and the income derived from them is not guaranteed and it can fall as well as rise and you may not get back the original amount invested.
